Kat Von D Saint Palette

Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Saint palette. This palette is also the new style. The design on the front is a new version of the roses from the Ludwig and Beethoven palettes. The logo on the front is white. This palette also comes with the autograph liner instead of the brushes.

Heavens is a pearly creamy white. Enjoy the Silence is the color of a manila folder if it was shimmery. <3 is a matte dusty nude pink with sparkle. Downtown is a pearly copper. Sunny is pearly bronze. Pray for me is pearly brass colored. Bookworm is a matte chocolate brown with gold glitter. Caravaggio is a black and brown matte.

All were swatched over bare skin -no primer or base.

My favorite colors in the palette are: <3, Sunny, and Bookworm.

Overall this is probably going to become my favorite Kat Von D palette. I love every single color and there is only one repeat, which is one that I love and goes well with all the colors. I would advise people to watch out for the fallout from <3. It has huge chunks of glitter which seem to fall all over the place if you are not careful. The glitter also ended up disappearing from my eyes and I was left a beautiful pink which is the best part of this shadow.

You can pick this palette up for $35 at Sephora.

Kat Von D Sinner Palette

Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Sinner palette. This palette is also the new style. The design on the front is a mix of the filigree from the Poetica palette and the skull and lightning bolt design from the Metal Orchestra palette. The logo on the front is black. This palette also comes with the autograph liner instead of the brushes.

All were swatched over bare skin -no primer or base.

My favorite colors in the palette are: Ace of Spades, Violator and Dorian Gray

A few of these colors are in other palettes, like lucifer which is in practically every palette. Ace of Spades and Holy Bible are also found in the Adora palette (which I do not own). I think the new colors in this palette are nice, and would help anyone create a great smoky eye for a night out.

You can pick up this palette for $35 at Sephora.

Kat Von D Poetica Palette

Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Poetica palette. The new palettes for fall are completely different from the past design. The first thing you will notice is that they are no longer made of the rubberized plastic, but of metal. There is a filigree design on the front and the logo is purple. The back still has a sticker telling you names and ingredients. If you push the button on the front you can open the palette (modeled after vintage cigarette cases). It opens completely flat which is a little bit of an issue when you try to use the mirror. They have also decided to get rid of the two dinky brushes and give you a small autograph pencil in puro amor.

Wonderland is blackened purple with purple sparkle. Skiba is an iridescent plum with gold glitter. Babe is an iridescent lavender/blue. You Alone is a pearl with gold glittery undertones.

My favorite colors in the palette are: Chandler and Wonderland
I look forward to using the palette even though it has three repeat colors. I love all of the browns, and Wonderland is a nice addition to the previous purples in the older palettes.

You can pick this palette up for $35 at Sephora.

Kat Von D Rock N Roll Palette

Today I will be doing a quick review of Kat Von D's Rock N Roll palette. This was a 500 point perk from Sephora. This palette is about half the size of the normal palettes. It is made out of the same rubberized plastic. On the front the design is of beads, skulls and lightning bolts. There are four shadows in the palette. They are:

Believer - glitter
Confessional - pearl
Groupie- pearl
Motorhead- glitter

Believer is a very glittery shiny white. Confessional is a pearly beige. Groupie is a pearly dark purple. Motorhead is a glittery dark gray.

Bottom: Groupie, Motorhead
All were swatched bare with no primer

My Favorite color is probably Groupie.

The colors are nice and simple but the texture of most of these stink. If you have the patience to work with these colors, this could be a very nice to-go palette.

Kat Von D Truth Palette

Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Truth palette. The outside of this palette is the same material as all of the other palettes; the only difference is the palette is white this time instead of black, just like the Angeles palette. The design on the front is a bunch of vintage skeleton keys. The Logo is in a metallic gold. The back tells you the names of the colors and ingredients, and you still get the two brushes inside.

The colors in the palette are:

Sugar Skull- Vanilla
Long Distance- Citron
Snake Eyes- Lime
Finland- Aqua cream

Galeano- Pale lilac (also found in Beethoven)
Rehab- Golden tan (also found in Angeles)
Sister- Peach

Sugar Skull is lime leaning soft pale cream. Long Distance is an intense lime green. Snake Eyes is light grass green. Finland is a brilliant sky blue cream. Prague is deep plum. Galeano is a sparkly sugar plum. Rehab is a pinky champagne brown. Sister is an almost matte nude peach.

My favorite colors in the palette are: Prague and Sister

As far as I can tell only two of these colors are repeats from two other palette. Galeano is from the Beethoven palette and Rehab is from the Angeles palette. All of the colors are silky smooth. They are light, especially compared to all of her other palette which are great for creating an intense smoky eye. I think all of these colors are very wearable for a wearable work look that has a little edge or personality.

Kat Von D Angeles Palette

Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Angeles palette. The outside of this palette is the same material as all of the other palettes; the only difference is the palette is white this time instead of black. The design on the front is a bunch of decorative crosses. The Logo is in a metallic teal. The back tells you the names of the colors and ingredients, and you still get the two brushes inside.

Specimen (Pearly Medium Brown)
Rehab (Pearly Beige)

Morphine- cream (Iridescent White)

Venus is a pearly bronze. Leather is a beautiful chocolate brown. Specimen is a shimmery brown that flashes a pinky gold. Rehab is a pinky champagne brown. Peggy is bright green leaning blue. Bukowski is a bight pearly aqua. Bellbottom is a slightly purple leaning dirty gray blue. Morphine, the only cream in the palette, is a light iridescent blueish-purple.

I do not know how often I will use the blues in the palette as I am not sure if they will look good with my skin tone and eye color. I will have to play around with them and see how I can fit them into my range of colors.

You can pick this palette up for $15 at Sephora.
