Duo 1 is a frosty silver pink and a metallic silver. Duo 2 is a satin chocolate brown with a metallic light copper. Duo 3 is an olive green sheen with an iridescent purple. Duo 4 is a black with chunky silver glitter and a gunmetal grey. I was very impressed with these shadows. They are very pigmented and soft. I think for the price you can not go wrong. Also, many of these colors are similar to colors in the Too Faced Glamour To Go Dream Edition.

Kat Von D Art Of Elysium - Kimberly Palette

Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Art Of Elysium Palette in Kimberly. This palette is the same size as the small palette that you could have received as a 500 points perk at Sephora. The palette is white rubberized plastic like most of the other palettes. It has a drawing of eyes on the front in black.

What is so nice about this palette, and probably one of the best  reasons to buy (because some of the colors are not new) is because of this:

Kat Von D designed this gorgeous palette in collaboration with the Art of Elysium, a charity that provides creative inspiration to children battling serious medical conditions. For the pallette's cover, Kat and a teenage girl from named Kimberly took turns drawing the other's portrait. On the left you'll find Evelyn's portrayal of Kat's eye and on the right you'll find Kat's portrayal of Evelyn's eye.

Ten percent of the purchase of this palette will benefit The Art of Elysium programs.

My favorite colors in the palette are: Shakespeare and Rad.

These colors all swatched beautifully and I would recommend this palette to anyone who is looking for a small palette to make a nice purple smoky eye.

You can pick this palette up for $20 at Sephora.

Kat Von D Sinner Palette

Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Sinner palette. This palette is also the new style. The design on the front is a mix of the filigree from the Poetica palette and the skull and lightning bolt design from the Metal Orchestra palette. The logo on the front is black. This palette also comes with the autograph liner instead of the brushes.

All were swatched over bare skin -no primer or base.

My favorite colors in the palette are: Ace of Spades, Violator and Dorian Gray

A few of these colors are in other palettes, like lucifer which is in practically every palette. Ace of Spades and Holy Bible are also found in the Adora palette (which I do not own). I think the new colors in this palette are nice, and would help anyone create a great smoky eye for a night out.

You can pick up this palette for $35 at Sephora.

Kat Von D Rock N Roll Palette

Today I will be doing a quick review of Kat Von D's Rock N Roll palette. This was a 500 point perk from Sephora. This palette is about half the size of the normal palettes. It is made out of the same rubberized plastic. On the front the design is of beads, skulls and lightning bolts. There are four shadows in the palette. They are:

Believer - glitter
Confessional - pearl
Groupie- pearl
Motorhead- glitter

Believer is a very glittery shiny white. Confessional is a pearly beige. Groupie is a pearly dark purple. Motorhead is a glittery dark gray.

My Favorite color is probably Groupie.

The colors are nice and simple but the texture of most of these stink. If you have the patience to work with these colors, this could be a very nice to-go palette.

Kat Von D Metal Orchestra Palette Swatches

Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Metal Orchestra palette. The outside of this palette is the same material as Ludwig and Beethoven but the design is completely different. There is a skull with butterfly wings and lightning bolts. The Logo is in a metallic light blue, while Ludwig and Beethoven were just silver. The back tells you the names of the colors and ingredients, and you still get the two brushes inside.

I decided to pick up this palette because I do not have a lot of blues or grays. I was not going to buy this at first because I was afraid of how dark and intense these colors were. I mostly do nude and natural looks because it is easier for me to experiment without my boyfriend looking at my like I am absolutely insane. But at the same time i was longing for more interesting colors. I have been feeling rather blah about myself lately and thought I deserved to get a little crazy with my makeup (like I was in high school on the random chance that I did wear makeup). So after seeing an amazing sparkly blue eye laurenisokay did, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try out some of these amazing blues.

My favorite colors in the palette are: Techno and Dagger.

The only complaint I have about this palette is the cream color. The actual pigmentation of Slayer is great, but it dries out and is much harder to use. It is still usable, you just need to rub your finger into it very hard to get some. (This is why I did not purchase the Adora palette. It had three cream shadows in it.)

You can get this palette for $24 at Sephora.

Here is a look I did with this palette.

Kat Von D Beethoven Palette Review And Swatches

Today I will be reviewing Kat Von D's Beethoven palette. The design on the front of this palette is the same as Ludwig and also has the two dinky brushes included. I waffled on the purchase of this palette. I saw photos on other blogs and was not sure if I could use these colors, but for the sake of completeness for my collection, I pick it up. I do not regret it one bit. When I recieved this from Sephora in the mail, I knew I would use all of these colors. The colors do not photograph well and they had all seemed rather dark and uninspiring to me. I was wrong! There are some repeats that are also in the Ludwig palette, but the colors that are unique to this palette make up a very interesting array of colors for looks.

My favorite colors in the palette are: Speed Blue, Razor Gray, and Galeano.

I find Lucifer to be somewhat chalky, which is what I find in most mattes that I have tried, even though I have only used a few. Although Leather is a matte as well, maybe with a subtle sheen (as Sephora tries to tell me it is a Deep Chocolate Brown Sheen), it is one of the smoothest in the entire palette. All of the colors have good pay off as you will find in almost every shadow that Kat Von D makes.

You can pick this palette up for $34 at Sephora.
