Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss In Mistress - Swatched

Basically everything I said about Over can be applied to Mistress. I have been shying away from glosses lately, blame my love of matte lips. But I just couldn't say no to trying the Intense Lipgloss after seeing how pigmented they all are.

Illamasqua Over Lipstick Swatch

I was bad. After buying Scandal, I was browsing the Illamasqua site and promptly fell in love with Over.

Well all know I can't say no to this type of color. Matte lipstick: check. Bright: check. Coral: check. Basically everything I love in a lip color! So far I have loved all of my Illamasqua lip product, the colors are just to die for and the packaging, amazing as well!

Hey everyone! Today I just wanted to share with you my collection of NYX Round lipsticks. I have four, most of which are colors that are out of my comfort zone. On to the pictures!

Some of these lipstick really surprised me. While the bottom gives you an idea of what is in store, it is not completely accurate to the finish of the lipstick. I will say now that Gem and Stella are very shimmery/sparkly. Haute Melon is quite sheer and Snow White is very opaque and creamy.

Kat Von D - Mini True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Little Sinner

Hey everyone! I have got some cool new Kat Von D palettes to share with you. As you all know, I have an insatiable urge to own every Kat Von D palette. I do not know why. I will say right now, I think these are much better than the Mi Vida Loca palette. There are two new palettes out, Little Saint and Little Sinner. They are mini palettes. There are four colors in each just like the Kimberly and Evelyn palettes. I think the colors look great, are pigmented and of good quality. I also love how there is only one real repeat shade out of the eight shadows.The four shadows in this palette are:

Galore - pearlized golden nude
T-Rex - pearlized olive
Swan Song - iridescent white (iridescent pearl in Mi Vida Loca palette)
Brave Awakening - pearlized maroon

I find these colors to be a little Christmas-y. The rich shimmery gold, evergreen and holly red really do scream holiday party! This is not a bad thing, they are pretty colors. I am glad that the repeat is a pretty color. It is not the colors she usually repeats, and I really did love Swan Song.

Kat Von D - Mini True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Little Saint

Hey everyone! I have got some cool new Kat Von D palettes to share with you. As you all know, I have an insatiable urge to own every Kat Von D palette. I do not know why. I thought there were two, but Pray For Me in this palette is different from the Pray For Me of the Saint palette.The four shadows in this palette are:

Pray For Me - pearlized dark purple (peralized taupe in sinner palette)

I really like that there are no surprises with this palette. What you see is what you get.What do you think of this new palette? Would you buy it? I think these colors may easily be duped by some, but it is nice to have them all in one spot.

FOTD using Sleek Oh So Special Palette

Today I wanted to share a look done with a palette I had been lusting after for a while: Sleek's Oh So Special palette! I have been on a nude and pink kick lately. (ever since Valentine's and thinking about wedding makeup

 

So let's get started!

After priming your lids, place Boxed in the crease

Then just blend out to soften the lines, and possibly clean up the winged shape if need be

Pat Organza on the center 1/2 of the lid

Take Pamper and place in inner corner

Next use Bow as a highlight under your brown and to soften any harsh lines around the crease if you would like

Add mascara and fill in your brows if you want

Here I used a blush from Sleek's Blush By 3 Sugar Palette - Turbinado

And for funzies I used NYX Matte Lipstick in Angel. I think I went a little too far with this. I also seem rather red today and I apologize.

 

 

 What do you think of this look? I think the lipstick was a bit much. I think it didn't work with the blush.

Sleek Blush by 3 Sugar Palette Swatches

This is just a quick post to show you swatches of Sleek's Sugar blush palette. I purchased two of the five. I picked Sugar and Lace. They seemed like the most logical to buy for someone with pale skin. Seeing as some of the others were quite pigmented, they really did scare me away. (I am not very talented in the blush department)

What do you think of these blushes? I really like Demerara. It is a very pretty peachy color. It seems quite sheer so you will definitely need to pile it one. Turbinado is very pigmented. Muscovado is a little intimidating. It is very pretty, but I am not sure about all those glitters!
