Darling Girl - Darling Grrl Collection Swatches

Hey everyone! Today I want to share with you an amazing collection from Darling Girl. By now you probably know I love Susan and think she is one of the best out there. Nothing I have bought from her has ever been a disappointment. Everything is beautiful and of amazing quality.

Darling Grrl Collection: Avid punk/psychedelic rockers unite with this fun and spunky collection from Darling Girl Cosmetics. Each color is based on a few of Darling Girl's most avid fans' favorite punk rock or psychedelic rock bands from the '80s and beyond. Each color is unique, hand blended and seriously "created to ROCK!"

Love In A Void - was inspired by one of my favorite women or rock, Siouxsie Sioux of Siouxsie and the Banshees. It;s a white pearl with pink shift and black and red sparkles
Vicar in a Tutu - was inspired by The Smiths and is a cool cucumber green with a subtle pink and orange duo-chome
Die, Die, My Darling - was inspired by one of my favorite bands, The Misfits. It is a gorgeous kelly green with pink and gold sparkles
Roots Radical - was inspired by Rancid and is a light, mint green with gold and pink sparkles
How Soon is Now - was inspired by The Smiths. It is a medium gray with pink and aqua sparkles
London Calling - was inspired by punk pioneers, The Clash. Oh how this song brings back memories of skateboarding under the Burnside Bridge (or should I say hanging out with cute boys and pretending to skateboard) It's an indigo base with heavy red shift

I love all of these colors. Love In A Void is so unique. I had never seen a color like this before with the red glitters. Vicar In A Tutu is a very pretty green. It would be great for an inner corner highlight. Die, Die My Darling is a beautiful rich green with almost a purple duo-chrome. Roots Radical is a very pretty sea foam, but more intense, with a gold sheen. How soon is now is a very interested greyish taupe full of blue and pink sparkles! London Calling is pretty much perfect. It is a deep plummy purple with a pretty golden/red sheen.

What do you think of these colors? Do you have a favorite? Are you thinking of picking any of these up?

I literally just realized I ordered two of spirit bond. Oops. Good thing I really like it! If you were to ask what my favorite was, I am not sure I would be able to pick. These are all very unique colors. The are pigmented and complex and shimmery and everyone could find something they love. I am excited to try some of the darker ones and see how they hold up with a bunch of blending. If I don't like it, I will say this now, they will make for an amazing liner.

What do you think of these colors? Do you have a favorite Femme Fatale color?

So I finally caved in and ordered from Chinovi. I was not sure what colors to pick up, so I trued to get a little of everything. I was very pleasantly surprise with these eyeshadows and I cannot wait to play with them. I love cake pops. These photos cannot do it justice. I tried, but I just cannot seem to capture how pretty it is. The closest is actually the lid of the clamshell. So pretty! At first I overlooked superstar, but looking at the photos, this is also an amazing color. With a greyish base and buttery yellow sparkles I am in love. Nieces is a really pretty coral color. I have been trying to find the perfect coral eyeshadow and this may be it. Hiccup and Marquee look quite similar, maybe I didn't need them both. Bubbles is a very nice golden coral. I also really love unicorn and secrets. They are two very pretty dark sparkly purples! You must have these two. Actually you need all of the purples, blues, blurples that I ordered. They are very pretty and unique.

Fyrinnae Swatches

I finally decided on what I wanted to try so I FINALLY ordered from Fyrinnae. I picked five shades that I thought I would really love. I hate to say this, but I was not completely in love with everything I received. Everyone always talked about how wonderful everything was, I really only loved half of my order. Maybe I didn't order the right things? Opinion? on to the photos!

Pumpkinfire, Orangutan, Te Amo

I am in love with orangutan and I am sure I will love pumpkinfire over a sticky base, but mostly Te Amo! After seeing Lily use it here, I knew I just had to have it. It was the most amazingly interestingly complex neutral color you could possibly own! I am not really all the impressed with Sugar Skulls in person. It looked nice on their site, but it just doesn't do anything for me. I am really dissapointed with my lack of love for Picture it: Sicily. I saw swatches and looks using it everywhere and love it. As soon as I got it, it was like meh. My biggest dissapointment was Candy Coated the free sample I received. I know I shouldn't complain about a free sample, but it just wasn't amazing to me. It wasn't really unique to me, as I am sure I have two similar colors, and it really is not a color I would wear often.

What are your thoughts on these colors?
Do you think they hype build up made it so I was so let down or did I just not order the right eye shadows? Suggestions?
